Why your brand needs a video strategy, not just videos

One polished brand film a year does less than a steady stream of short, useful clips. A video strategy decides what you film, how often, and what each piece is for.

Video is the most requested thing in our studio and the most wasted. Brands spend on one beautiful film, post it once, and go quiet for six months. The platforms reward the opposite: regular, specific, short.

Shoot once, cut many

A single half-day shoot, planned properly, should produce a hero piece, six to ten vertical clips, stills for the website and a few raw moments for stories. We write the cut list before the camera is unpacked, so nothing useful is left on the floor.

Give each format a job

Fifteen-second vertical clips earn attention. Sixty-second explainers answer a question. Two-minute films build trust on the website and in sales meetings. Mixing them up, like posting the brand film as a reel, is how good footage underperforms.

Arabic subtitles are not optional

Most people watch with the sound off, and many of your viewers switch between languages. Burned-in subtitles in both languages, sized for a phone, are the cheapest improvement we know of for watch time.

Decide the cadence before the content

Two clips a week you can sustain beats five a week you abandon in March. Set a rhythm the team and the budget can keep for a year, then fill it with the formats above.

The brand film still has a place. It just should not be the whole plan.
