A website launch is rarely dramatic when it goes well. That is the point. Most of the work in the final week is checking boring things that would be very visible if they went wrong on day one.
Content and language
Every page read in both languages on a phone. Placeholder text gone. Phone numbers tap to call. Email addresses are real. Prices, addresses and opening hours confirmed by the client in writing, not from the old site.
Forms and email
Every form submitted from a real device, and the email received in the real inbox. Transactional email sent through a proper SMTP service, not the server default, so it does not land in spam. Spam protection on, with a test that a human can still get through.
Search and tracking
The staging “noindex” removed. Titles and descriptions on every page. Redirects from every old URL that had traffic. Analytics and pixel events firing on form submissions, not just page views. A sitemap submitted and a search console verified.
Speed and safety
Images compressed and sized for where they appear. Caching on. A backup taken and restored once to prove it works. Admin passwords rotated, unused plugins removed, and an uptime monitor pointed at the live domain.
Then we launch on a weekday morning, watch it for the day, and hand over the keys with a short document that says where everything lives.
